The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) will be hiring Teachers qualified in FSL Part 1 for Contract and Long Term Occasional assignments to address the growing needs of our French programs for the 2021-22 school year.
You are invited to apply to this posting if you are registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), possess French as a Second Language Part 1 qualifications or will possess FSL Part 1 by August 31, 2021. External candidates will be interviewed and will complete an OCDSB French assessment. Screening is anticipated to occur in March/April 2021. Placements into assignments will occur in May/June 2021.

Successful applicants to this posting will be assigned to one or more of the following:
- A permanent contract position with OCDSB
- A Long Term Occasional assignment with OCDSB for the full 2021-22 school year.

Interviews:
Due to the pandemic, our interviewing methods will involve a software platform called RIVS. An electronic file will be sent to applicants with pre-recorded interview questions. Candidates will be provided with a specified period to record their responses and to submit them to the OCDSB.
