A man was shot and killed after a disagreement at a bus stop in northeast Houston

A man was shot and killed after getting into an argument with a suspected coworker near a bus stop in northeast Houston.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the METRO bus stop in the Fiesta parking lot at 9419 Mesa Dr.

The victim was reportedly arguing with the suspect about the couple’s living situation. As the two approached the bus stop, the man did something the suspect considered threatening, so they turned around and shot him.

When authorities arrived at the scene, the man was lying on the ground covered in blood. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspected shooter remained at the scene and was arrested. The weapon used to kill the man was also recovered.

HPD says the investigation is ongoing.
