Mother and baby missing after being found at Texas Roadhouse in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs Police are searching for a mother and her 11-month-old son after she left with the child during a meeting at Texas Roadhouse on Powers Blvd in Colorado Springs.

The mother had agreed to meet the boy’s father at the restaurant to say goodbye before leaving the state.

Despite having a protective order from a previous incident, the father agreed to the meeting. When he went out to get a bag of diapers, the mother left with the child. Attempts to reach her were unsuccessful and her whereabouts are unknown.

A search warrant has been issued and officials are working to find her and the baby.
