What sports are being played at ASU this week? Volleyball returns home

It’s going to be a busy weekend for the Arizona State volleyball team in Tempe as the Sun Devils return home for the first time since their scrimmage on Aug. 24.

ASU will host the Webb-Burbridge Classic at Desert Financial Arena Thursday through Saturday.

Football will play its first conference game in the Big 12, a road game in Lubbock against Texas Tech.

The football team will face the University of Houston on Thursday, which is the second of three road games to start the Big 12 season.

Thursday, September 19

ASU women’s tennis at the USTA Intercollegiate Championships, San Diego, California, 8 a.m.

ASU volleyball vs. Prairie View A&M, Desert Financial Arena, 11 a.m.

ASU Football vs. University of Houston, Houston, 5 p.m.

Friday, September 20th

ASU Men’s Golf Tournament at the Fighting Illini Invitational, Olympia Fields, Illinois, 8 a.m.

ASU Women’s Golf Tournament at the Mason Rudolph Invitational, Franklin, Tenn., 8 a.m.

ASU Women’s Tennis at the USTA Intercollegiate Championships, San Diego, California, 8 a.m.

ASU vs. University of Memphis volleyball match, Desert Financial Arena, 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 21

ASU Cross Country at UC Riverside, Riverside, California, 8 a.m.

ASU Men’s Golf Tournament at the Fighting Illini Invitational, Olympia Fields, Illinois, 8 a.m.

ASU Women’s Golf Tournament at the Mason Rudolph Invitational, Franklin, Tenn., 8 a.m.
