Hispanic Heritage Month Kicks Off at Lee Little Theater

THATCHER — Hispanic Heritage Month will kick off Sept. 19 with a special event at Eastern Arizona College.

The Lee Little Theatre will be the site of the 10th annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by EAC and the Hispanic Heritage Corporation of Eastern Arizona.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. with the reading of the proclamation declaring September 15 through October 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month, followed by guest speakers and a mariachi performance.

Admission is free.

Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for scholarships to Eastern Arizona College for students of all ethnicities.
