HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) – The Tennessee Valley is home to a rapidly growing live entertainment scene that provides local artists with new opportunities to showcase their talent at venues and events throughout the area. Talent can be found around every corner, and we’re highlighting those stars through the “Sounds of the Valley” series.

This time, we introduce you to Zami Maré. She is a talented local singer with roots in Athens, Alabama. Currently, she still lives in the area and says she is grateful for the growing musical opportunities in the area, which give her a platform to showcase her passion.

Maré is also an affiliate artist with Heard First Huntsville, a project that invests in local creatives through artist development and networking opportunities. She says being part of the group feels like being part of another family that truly cares about your best interests, both professionally and personally.

Maré is not only talented with the pen and behind the microphone, but she is also an actress with several credits under her belt so far.

Discussing her life off stage and screen, Maré opened up about her life with her family. She is a dedicated mother and wife.

When asked how she juggles all those responsibilities on top of a career in the entertainment industry, she said it wouldn’t be possible without a strong support system behind her.
