Search continues for Naperville native Jessica Rapsys, missing for days at Creek Plantation in Allendale, South Carolina

Jessica Rapsys, who currently lives in Florida, was traveling to visit family, police said.

ALLENDALE, South Carolina — A search is currently underway for a woman originally from Naperville.

Jessica Rapsys, 27, disappeared while traveling from Florida to South Carolina to visit her family, WJBF reported.

She was last seen Tuesday night in Allendale, South Carolina.

Police found her abandoned car later that night, stuck on the train tracks. The woman’s keys, shoes and mobile phone were still inside.

The local sheriff said search efforts include helicopters and a dog team.

He said his car was still warm, but had been parked for a while on private property in Creek Plantation.

Rapsys most recently lived in Jacksonville, Florida.
