The Big E 2024: Here’s when New England’s biggest fair returns to Massachusetts

One of the best fairs in the country is coming back to Massachusetts in less than a month.

The Big E returns to The Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield on Friday, Sept. 13 and will last until Sunday, Sept. 29.

Gates open daily at 8 am with some attractions opening later in the morning like various buildings on the fairgrounds and the midway. Venues are generally open until 9 pm, 10 pm or 11 pm

The fair has already revealed its list of live music performances, including Ludacris, Diplo, Big Time Rush and Dustin Lynch, as well as multiple local artists.

New England’s largest fair ended its 17-day run in 2023 with 1,427,234 fairgoers.
