Vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz to arrive in Colorado on Wednesday

DENVER (KKTV) – Minnesota Governor and vice presidential candidate Tim Walz will stop in Colorado later this week as part of an ongoing campaign ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Walz will make a series of solo stops this week for the first time since being named Kamala Harris’ running mate a week ago.

With a truncated campaign season, Harris and Walz are wasting no time getting down to business. The campaign announced Monday that Walz would travel to Los Angeles on Tuesday to speak at a union convention and then fly to Denver on Wednesday for a campaign reception. That would be followed by two trips to the East Coast: Boston later on Wednesday and Newport, Rhode Island, on Thursday.

Details about the location and time of Walz’s visit have not been announced at the time of writing.

Former President Donald Trump, who is running for reelection against Harris, stopped in Aspen over the weekend. Harris and Walz’s Republican counterpart, JD Vance, have not yet stopped in Colorado.
