Airbnb launches Polly Pocket, the pocket house to live out your 90s dreams

WESTFORD, Mass. – To celebrate Polly Pocket’s 35th anniversary, Mattel and Airbnb have partnered to create a stay in an iconic life-size Polly Pocket case from the 1990s.

Located in Littleton, Massachusetts, Airbnb has everything guests need to feel like dolls for a day.

“I can’t wait for you to visit and help me celebrate my birthday in my most epic compact ever,” Polly said in an Airbnb press release. “We’re having a fun sleepover in my hometown of Littleton, where we make the ordinary extraordinary. There are adventures to be had, from my closet full of nostalgic fashion fun to the surprises I’ve hidden in the compact. The fun is endless!”

Guests can request to book one of three one-night stays running from September 12-14 for four guests each, at $89 per person, a nod to Polly Pocket’s debut on the scene in 1989.

Airbnb includes some of Polly Pocket’s most iconic retro looks in its closet that guests can wear; a life-size Action Park tent just 10 feet away from the compact; and surprises throughout the stay.

Those ready to become a doll for a day can apply to book an overnight stay at Polly Pocket’s compact starting August 21 at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time at airbnb.com/pollypocket through August 28 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, when application periods close.

Polly is also opening her home for 21 experiences for up to 12 guests each to embark on a doll-worthy daytime adventure from September 16 through October 6. Interested guests can request to book this experience starting August 21 at 6:00 a.m. PT at airbnb.com/pollypocketplaydate through August 28.

Guests are responsible for their own travel to and from Littleton, Massachusetts.
