KYLE, TX (August 12, 2024) — Christina Gonzales of Kyle has been promoted to Branch Manager at the local Greater Texas Credit Union office.

Gonzales began her career in Greater Texas in 2010 as a member contact service representative at the credit union’s Austin Airport branch. She worked in a variety of positions at the credit union and earned several promotions before rising to branch manager. She has worked at the Kyle branch since 2015.

In addition to caring for the needs of members as Branch Manager, Gonzales will also be responsible for building and establishing relationships with the community and initiating programs and projects where her team can serve and support the community as part of the credit union’s Greater Good initiative.

“She is highly respected by her staff and team members,” said Cynthia Olivares, Assistant Vice President of Market Development and Operations. “She has already proven herself throughout her career here and we are ready for her to take on this new opportunity.”

Gonzales has already begun discussions with Hays ISD to explore ways to help improve the financial readiness and well-being of college students and their families, as well as ways to support local schools through volunteer efforts, scholarships and sponsorship opportunities.

Gonzales is bilingual and can speak to English and Spanish speaking groups about financial wellness, as well as financial wellness and other financial concerns.
