Seeing Eye: Warren church to host annual Women's Day program on Aug. 11

WOMEN’S DAY: Hoyt Street Flourishing Ministries Church of God in Christ, 789 Hoyt St. SW, Warren, will host its annual Women’s Day program at 4:00 p.m. on August 11 at the church.

Special guest speaker is Sheila Terry-Cook of the Church of God in Christ of the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Northern Ohio in Toledo. The topic is “We Have Work to Do…

The program will also include local musical talent and praise dancers.

Sponsors include Irene Coleman Edmonds, Valerie D. Bell and Margo Johnson.

Funds raised at the event will be used to improve the church’s parking lot. To donate, use Cash App ($hoytstreetchurch) or Givelify (Hoyt Street Church of God in Christ).

MUSIC PROGRAM: The Sojourner Quartet will be ministering at New Covenant Baptist Church, 1606 Salt Springs Road, Lordstown, during the 10 a.m. service on Sunday.
