The Mountain Artists Guild presents the Prescott Fine Arts and Wine Festival on Saturday and Sunday, August 3-4

The Prescott Summer Fine Art & Wine Festival is an outdoor event held at the historic Courthouse Plaza in downtown Prescott. It features a juried exhibition of prominent fine art vendors and features a variety of activities for all ages, including artist demonstrations, children’s art and interactive art activities, live music, and a wine garden.

Attendees 21 and older can purchase exclusive tickets to sample a variety of wines from some of Arizona’s top wineries. Ten Arizona wineries will sample and retail their wines.

The guild has been hosting fine arts festivals at Courthouse Plaza since 1953 and is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

Hours: Saturday8/3 9am to 5pm Wine Garden is open from 11am to 4:30pm. Sunday8/4 from 9am to 4pm. Wine Garden will be open from 11am to 3:30pm.

The Mountain Artists Guild was founded on October 28, 1949. The founding group included Mabel Lawrence, Claire Dooner Phillips, George Phippen, and Dr. Florence Yount. Originally called the “Prescott Art League,” founding president Frances Brown was instrumental in changing the name to the Mountain Artists Guild. The Mountain Artists Guild, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of the visual arts in the greater Prescott area.
