Live music returns for fourth year to Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Those taking Saturday flights during the month of July can enjoy soothing music while waiting in TSA and check-in lines.

The ECP Wheels Up Summer music series is back.

This is the fourth year that Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport has maintained this tradition.

Local artists perform every Saturday at the terminal from noon to 3pm.

On Saturday, passengers preparing for departure were treated to live saxophone performances.

“So when you’re traveling, we know you can have a stressful day sometimes. This is an extension of our ESP Finder program, where we’ll be handing out cookies from time to time to our passengers just to thank them for choosing ECP,” said Katie Spillman, ECP Airport Public Relations Advisor.

Spillman says all the artists will be playing fun, relaxed music. She herself will be performing on the 14th.

Here is the full list of who will be performing throughout the month:

July 6: Al Alvarado

July 13: Christon Birge

July 20: Chris Alvarado

July 27: Gene Mitchell and Bryan Whitley
