Texas A&M signs 4-star linebacker Noah Mikhail for 2025 class

Mike Elko and Texas A&M landed another defensive centerpiece in the 2025 class on Sunday with a commitment from four-star outside linebacker Noah Mikhail, a two-way standout from La Verne, California.

Mikhail, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound defender who plays at Bonita High School in California, is the No. 58 player in the 2025 ESPN 300 rankings. He chose the Aggies over Oregon and USC following visits to all three schools earlier this month.

According to ESPN rankings, Mikhail is the No. 4 prospect in the state of California and the sixth-ranked linebacker in the class of 2025.

With Mikhail’s promise, Texas A&M adds nine commitments to the ESPN 300 in 2025, as Elko builds an inaugural recruiting class loaded with defensive talent. Mikhail joins the Aggies as the second-highest ranked defender in the program’s incoming class, trailing only four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie, the No. 46 prospect and No. 6 cornerback in the 2025 class.

Elsewhere, Texas A&M boasts top-300 prospects in cornerbacks Deyjhon Pettaway (No. 10 CB in 2025), Cobey Sellers (No. 15) and Jamar Beal Goines (No. 23), No. 9 defensive tackle Landon Rink and inside linebacker Kelbion Riggins, the third-ranked prospect at his position in 2025.

Mikhail is a three-year starter at Bonita High School and enters his senior year as one of the best two-way players in his home state. The physical linebacker totaled 166 tackles and two interceptions during his junior season, while totaling 818 all-purpose yards and 13 touchdowns as a hybrid running back/wide receiver in the Bearcats’ offense last fall.

Mikhail enters as the third-highest-ranked prospect in the Aggies’ 2025 class, behind Currie and four-star quarterback Husan Longstreet, the No. 4 pocket passer in this cycle. As Elko’s recruiting streak continues, Texas A&M sits at sixth in ESPN’s latest team rankings for the 2025 class.
